Hiya, i was reading the tech article on fuel injector cleaning, and it calls for a spare injector plug. i dun have one, nor do i have the desire to go 20 miles to the nearest junkyard to get one, is it possible to just loop wires around the prongs on the injectors to get the same effect, the article calls for a setup hooked to a car battery and a switch to trigger the injector to clean it


if so, anyone know which one is positive and negative, or does it matter

 

just go buy a 2 cans of bg 44k and and run two complete tanks of it through and that'll clean the injectors pretty good

 

I cleaned my injectors individually with a battery. I just got 2 slide connectors and ran them that way instead of a extra injector plug.

It doesn't matter as far as + or - goes.

its all good, i went to a yard today and clipped some off a random car

i meant off the car MJR, theyre soaking in some cleaner right now
