New Project (engine pulled/bay PAINTED)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
made a trip to pull-a-part today. was on a hunting trip for gt40/p heads and intake. all the explorers were stripped clean of their topend.
so examined all the foxbodies (all 4cyl's) for parts. 1 had near mint interior panels. but i wasnt sure if they would fit in my 86 since they were out of a 90. they should. but the speakers were in a different spot on the panels. and shaped a lil differnt.
on my way out i remembered there was as 79coupe i forgot to look at.. went found it. pos. beaten to all hell. looked behind front bumper and remembered i needed a bumper reinforcement deal. ripped that front bumper off, realizing its shaped completely different and 7 years older. but grabbed it anyways for $13
got home took my front bumper off threw that bish on and it fit perfect. so hellz yea. prepped it and painted it. looks brand new. saved me over $100 from buying a new one. balllllllinnnn
and ive spent the last 3-4hours cleaning my windows. scraping off old window tint. and primer overspray with a razor blade. my windows are fuking mirrors now. like factory clean. it looks really good..
ill snap a few pics tomorrow of whatever

i meant the rear interior panels. the 2 Large panels in the hatch area. would they fit? i have alot of my interior peices around.... haha. they were all painted up. but dad started throwing them around and crap. so they all need to be redone again.
they should, if anything, they may need to be trimmed where the 1/4 windows are... reason bein is the 79-86 1/4 windows are more set in that the 87-93 windows from when they went with the glass instead of the plastic louvers... if you know what I mean...
as for the speaker locations... no biggie, just reroute wires... but I think the speakers are different shape....

k, the reason i mentioned the speakers is becuse on the 86 panels they are flush in the rear. but on the panels on the 90 they come out like 4" or so by the rear seats. idk. im saving my money for a stroker so it doesnt matter.

last week i made a stop by Summit Racing. and picked me up some Sealed Power- Main bearings and piston rings
and more parts in my inventory. picked up a set of e7 heads friday night, assembled with a set of valve covers for just $20. spent 5hours in the garage yesterday with a tub of purple power cleaning the heads. took off the rockers etc. got them looking new. reassembled them, sprayed them with some wd-40 type spray so they wont rust, and bagged them, got them stored in my closet now till i need them
so now im selling some more things. and on search for a Carbuerator/intake manifold/rod bearings/pushrods/gasket-seal kit/new oil pump/ and a t5 and ill be ready to drive.... god i need a job
