I had a revelation not long ago... engine was taken the machine shop (for my 18th b-day) and it needed to be bored.. so it was bored and honed .30 over... i was gonna go with a 306. but i changed my mind.... Im saving up for scat 331 stroker now. hehehe. i got 2 buddies with 331's in there 1st gen stangs. but ill have the Fuel injected stroker.. got the engine back from the machien shop today. and here she is

anybody got ideas for what color to paint it? dad wants to paint it next month. all teh four eyes ive seen on the street were either white or black. so were gonna do something different. he mentioned maybe a burnt orange? possibly.. would definately stand out

how about grabber green, this was my last motor =306
and so u know a 331 u will need a stroker kit=1000 and then new balancer, flywheel, bigger than stock cam, injectors, intake and definetely heads, if u have the money cool just letting u know as for a 306 rebuilt u could use all your stock stuff and a few upgraded parts for a few bucks, just saying strokers start adding up when u got to buy everything
