cough*cough*351...cough* lol. This happened to a nissan of mine back in the day.......it sucked turns out the pick-up was bent enough to make the oil pick-up not work to well

 

a while back woody told me about how somebody didn't bolt up the pick up right so it was sitting on the pan, and the motor blew. ever since then i've been sure to really take my time when installing the pump/pick up, i didn't want that happening.

wow this is not my week. first all the engine problems, then thanks to gm doing so sucky, i got "temporarily" laid off today, and i think the tranny in my focus started slippin on my way home

i guess the upside of this is i can get some experiance putting a tranny in a fwd car, and i won't have work to worry about when school starts next month.

 

i feel sorry for ya man.

i have thought of another positive thing in this. i worked at a machine shop, and am going to school to become an auto tech. well someday i'd have to quit my job anyways to get a job in my field so i can get certified. well i called up a friend who works at a ford dealer today and he said they're considering hiring another trainee, so maybe my luck is changing already. who knows. but it'll all get better eventually.
