well, adjusting the cable didnt do a thing, my clutch is smoked... gonna be a bit of time till I can get a new one, but until then, as long as I dont drive it like a dragracer, I'll make due...

will this fit my car? '91 5.0 stock t-5 I need a 10 spline right?

if you want something cheap to hold you over, i could sell you the stock one i had in my 89 GT..i put like 250 miles on it pre-wreck..its got MAYBE 1k on it total, im not sure..when my king cobra went, my buddy gave it to me

i bought a dual friction to be put in during the swap

thanks for the offer, but it will only be about 2-3 weeks until I order a new one... I have band camp starting tomorrow, so the car wont be used much for few weeks... will sit at my house... not really allowed to drop a tranny in the parking lot of my townhouse block... if I was home from school thats a different thing, cuz there she sleeps in the garage

she only slips in 5th gear when I push it over 3 grand....


should I also order the dowel pins?

no problem man, i had just remembered reading in another one of your threads that you were tight on cash..and i know that feeling all too well...college + minimal working hours = not a lot of money

I do appreciate it, just beign at school, I need a shop to do it cuz I am 160 miles from my garage/my grandpas garage, where all the tools I need are there...

my family mechanic wants to charge me 260 bucks just to put it in, and I am pretty sure that is just labor, or for a stock replacement, I dont remember... he also said King Cobra clutches are the best ones to go with, which as you know, is the opposite...
