Default Need help tuning my 5.0 fox please?

I just got a 87 Mustang GT 5.0. And its got a few mods on it. Its running at 1100 rpm wich is way to high right? And im woundering with the mods what is it supose to run at? Its got a Cold air intake,Headers, h pipe with flowmaster 40's mufflers and a E303 Cam. If there is anyone that knows what it should run at RPM wise and maybe even what the timing should be set at that would be great! I was thinking somewere around 650-700 for rpm range but im not sure. Let me know guys please.

PS I want that low end rumble that the cam should give me THANKS :]

Well, if you don't have any issues, set it to what feels comfortable to you. Mine idles between 900-1000. That's where I like it.

you need to perform a base idle reset procedure, nor messing with the screw at first!!! that is the incorrect way cause it will throw the tps reading out of spec, you need to google base idle reset and that'll show you the proper way to set idle

I read your list of upgrades and noticed that your car is an '87. Does it have a MAF? Does it operate decent through the entire RPM range? The idle that you are expecting should be pretty close.

Mass air flow? hmm yeah i think so but there is something on the intake thats plugged off not sure what that is. Runs well and its smooth at well 1100 were its at but i want it lower like the highest i want is 800 i want it to sound like it has a cam with it does. But i cant really set it to the stock ford timing considering the cam right? it throws it off correct? So by ear?
