cam advancement

cam advancement

i'm wondering if i when i nstall my cam if i should advance it or not, but i'm confused also as i heard Comp Cams grinds +4 in all their cams, anyone know if this is true or not?

depends on the cam and you'd have to degree it to see where it ends up at, but most ots cams have a 2-4 degree advance already built in, so more than likely straight up will be fine
