thats fresh play doe, get it out the play pen, its old and stiff lol. But there is another type of clay, some used plumbers clay/. All have worked for me ok.




When you say pressure, are you referring to physical contact or cylinder air pressure?

As far as p-v contact checking, use some resin/acid solder.

There have been quite a share of AFR 165 N/A 302 combinations that have hit in the 11's, if ET is important to you.

Killercanary hit 112.51 MPH, running 12.1 in a 3,650 lb '95 Vert (AFR 165, Performer Intake, FTI camshaft).

I had AFR 165's, Performer Intake, and a custom cam from the same guy as well.

It is going 40,000 miles later without a hiccup.

i love my 165's and have no complaints, they are plenty enough head for a 302 now if you plan on stroking it then consider the 185's

I im going to rebuild the engine, the only left of the block will be crank and mabe rods.... it going to be bored 40 over so its going to be 308.... im just looking for a engine kit that i dont have to worry about notching the pistons ( i dont trust myself notching the pistons) and i dont want to pay somone to do it... also it will be S/C later down the line
