Default Stalling...

My 5.0's acting strange. It started a year a go and has gotten dramatically worse over time. When I first start up the car, it can take nearly a minute for the rpms to settle just under a 1000. Before it settles the needle goes up and down and if I don't give the car a little gas it stalls. This also happens when I down shift to second whilst making turns. The rpms drop below 500 and the car stalls, which is not fun when people are turning behind me. Any thoughts. I thought it might be the tps but I don't really know. Other than this issue the car runs great the rest of the time.

run a koer test and check for codes, if none check for vaccum leaks, if none , could be a bad or dirty IAC motor
