Headliner?
Hate to do it, but i posted my question in the Convertible section over a week ago and got nothing. I don't think it's a very active section over there. So i figure i'll ask my question here. Prior to the 92 LX Feature mustang convertible, did the convertible tops have headliners? I bought an 89 LX a year ago and the top is in great shape, but there is no headliner. You can see the metal frame. Thank you for your help.
no they didnt have them, ive got a 91 gt and no headliner
you can buy the kit to add it to cut down on noise and keep cooler/warmer in the seasons www.50resto.com

Well i'll be, less than 10 minutes later and someone is all over it like a duck on a junebug!!!
I've seen the headliners and pads that LMR sells. I am thinking about having one installed. If the car had originallly came with it, but was now missing it for some reason i was going to replace it. It is just bumped farther down the list now.
I just find it remarkable that ford didn't put headliners in the convertibles until mid 1992 and it was only on feature lx verts.
I picked up a buddy from the airport and we had about a 1hour trip back to town. riding in this sucker at 70-80mph is noisy as hell. we were yelling at each other just so we could hear. Course the wind was gusting 40-45mph that day also. Well thanks for you quick reply!
