my neighbor said they should have corrodinating numbers. i checked mine and sure enough they do.

my pinion is stamped 1L5LA-M7 and my ring has stamped on it 01-57

and both are stamped 373 on pinion and ring not written in like that other picture

they are completely flat on the underside of the ring gear, like the above pic, if theres a 'groove' or cut along the outside edge they are motive like so...

It doesn't say anything, the spot it was stamped is not legible.

I just saw this, http://www.modularfords.com/forums/s...t=70353&page=6 Check out post 45 and 46, a guy saying those are ford gears. They look just like what I got. WTF???
