did all 89 gts have the titanium trim along the bottom. Mine were spray painted on by the guy before me to make it titanium colored but underneath it looks like it was red like the rest of car.

 

This is taken from the 1989 Dealers Brochure this is listed under GT exterior features.

Body-color bodyside protection molding (titanium with optional lower titanium accent treatment)

Only 1 of the GTs pictured in the 1989 brochure show this option, the others are all one color.
