Default new guy here 87 gt have ? about a turbo


have a ? on what would be a good turbo to run on my car motor is non-efi and has a mild build looking to turbo it any help would be great thanks

cant post pics not sure why it dont work. only has heads and cam and fresh bottom end just want to put a turbo on it not sure what kind to use

there are alot of options, name your price and that will be your determining factor. You can spend all the way from 2500 to 6000 for a basic bolt on turbo setup.

I looked into a turbo setup for my car and it was going to cost as much as a fresh h/c/i 347 or 351w and that was on a MAF car. Running a turbo on a carbed engine will be a pain in the *** unless you have a great tuner that's a good friend and doesn't charge you. For a turbo kit look to spend $3000-$6000 depending on what you get, for all the tuning and other things you'll need to properly fuel that sucker another $1000
