Hey guys. so this winter im planing on doing a new engine build and would like some opinions. Right now in my car i got a roller cam 302 with gt40p's bbk shortys, edlebrock torker II, holley 600, its ok but seems to be damn poochy. I got another complete bottom end sittin on the engine stand all stock needs to be cleaned up...can u guys recomend me some parts or what i should do. Now the car is a 81 tbird..its just a dd/cruiser.

your problem is the intake...torquer 2 = all wrong, you need a dual plane such as a rpm or rpm air gap and a decent cam and then it won't feel flat

agreed the torker 2 is a single plane if i remember right get a performer rpm or airgap along with a decent cam and then she will have some more poop down low and mid range..

what cam would you guys suggest with the edlebrock rpm performer intake?

ill probally go with the tfs1. what kinda valve springs and lifters should i run on the gt40p's..
