Air Intake vs. Fuel Injectors
#11
Thanks for the info, appreciate it. Since everything is stock now, what would you recommend upgrading to achieve add'l horsepower/ performance? Anything short of nitrous or super/ turbochargers? I'd like to do some mods this winter but am on somewhat of a budget. Thanks.

If you're really on a budget then I would consider maybe doing what I did. I am assuming you have a manual, so I would get some rear gears. 4:10's would be your best. However, you'd be shifting quite a bit and highway driving would suck your gas, so you might want to consider some 3:73's. I would also, upgrade your exhaust, at least a catback and some headers. An ebay CAI and underdrive pulleys will help as well. You can keep your stock TB as it is already large enough(60mm). A high flow intake manifold will help open up your choked induction and give you a bit more higher rpm punch. Heads,Cam and an Intake would be your ideal setup. However that can get pricey. Good luck!
