Can i hope for 14's
and it dosnt have an AOD dumbass
nope if your glx started as a sixer like mine it has a c5, a version of the c4. what intake and carb are you running? what about exhaust? Is it a true dual setup? should be able to 14's with it. you could use a shift kit and a stall converter though.
Go back and re-read your first post "Stock 3 speed auto tranny", your words!....now who is the dumbass!...didn't say your car is junk, just the 86 long block! ...'83 is one of my favorite Foxes! Put some stock '87-93 heads & upper intake/TB & it will wake-up your car...

Jokes on you man, an AOD is a 4 speed not a 3 speed
. A stock 3 speed tranny for a 83 is a c5 (v6) and the c4(v8). They are basicly the same tranny but the c5 has a few differences.
And screw the the e7's go with at least GT40's.

Yeah, its got the c5 in it. It is running true dual headerback flowmasters. I will be getting a shift kit and stall for it soon, as it sits its a little slushy on the shifts. Ran the vin and found it was an original v6 car. The swap was professionally done tho so im not worried about it.

I would really advise you in getting a c4 that has been built up some. I burnt my c5 out pretty quick after my 302 was dropped in. I wouldn't waste the money on a shift kit for it. Some parts are the same with the c4 and c5 but the torque converter nor is the valvebody the same so you can't buy them and swap them later. With a c4 (the small bellhousing at least) you will a little less weight and more room for starter changes and header/exhaust clearance. I traded my burned up c5 for a few parts for a c4 I had sittin around from a guy that has a shop in ohio. I believe his name on here is c4kings or something like that but I havn't seen him on here in awhile.
