nitto tire question

Default nitto tire question
i am looking at drag radials and i wanna get some nittos but i head they run smaller is this true? i wanna run a 275 40 17 what would this be in a nitto if they run smaller

A buddy of mine ran 315's on his stock 9" rim. I ran 275's on a 9". The 315 nittos would have easily fit my car. If that's any help to ya.

275 Nitto's will fit your car fine...I ran '95 Cobra R's (17x9's) on my '91 GT...

i am gonna run dd 17x10.5 bullits, i found this thread http://images.google.com/imgres?imgu...%3Den%26sa%3DN he is running 275 40 17 m/t on the same size rims. anyone no what size nitto would be close. thanks for all the luck so far

um...why would a nitto run smaller than any other tire? how can 275 mean any thing other than 275?
