Default Mustang Dyno

So I call up our local Dyno master and I say, "hey i want to get my car dyno'd". he asks why i respond that i want to get exact hp/tq numbers and make sure my engine and car are tuned! He told me that with my mods I would be wasting my time since it's all smog legal and that i'm still under the 550 hp range. Why would a person who would be getting 2-3 hours of dyno commission turn me down or discourage me from getting it dyno'd? Is what he says true about not really needing to dyno my car or needing to dyno a car that is still smog legal even though pumping out close to or less than 550 hp? My mods are in my sig.

Turning down money = Fail lol

Who cares how many or how littel a car has if you are willing to pay to get them to dyno and tune it. Maybe he has too much money and doesnt need business.

Well he said he'll do it, but he's been in business for 47 years and has been doing it for a while and feels that doing a dyno for something that is still smog legal would have little effect, and for the cost he's sayin i should upgrade more, once i get a turbo/sc or some serious hp modifiers past what i have is when he said it would be necessary but not at the point i'm at. Ima look around in a larger town about an hour south of here where there's like 10 dyno shops hah
