Default Intake manifold Casting numbers

Does any one know what the casting numbers (upper and lower) for the HO intake, Explorer, Cobra and GT40 intake are?

I have a old truck motor and I was wondering if the lower intake would be the same as any of them I mentioned above. I would also like to know what the casting numbers of those intakes so if see them at a swap meet I can id them. I know the upper intakes look different and I can tell them apart but I don't know what the lowers look like. Is there a book I can buy with late model casting numbers in it?

hmmm dunno...but I believe the truck intakes have a little larger ports as back in the day before any aftermarket stuff was availible it was the cheap way to pick up a few ponies

Try this link you can see the difference between a stock mustang 5.0 and explorer GT40 5.0 intake. It might help answer what your asking.

If it is an EFI engine, then it is completely different. The truck lowers have square (rectangle) ports kindof like the edel lowers.

Thats a good link. I was able to see the casting number of the explorer.

You're right. I knew the the gt40 intake had round runner's and that the explorer intake is pretty much a gt40 intake, I just never put 2 and 2 together that the explorer would have round runners.
