Default GT40 vs GT40P

Which heads are better the GT40 or the Gt40P's? I have seen some flow data were the gt40p's slightly outflow the gt40's.

Ah, the age old question lol. I like my P's because they gave a nice increase in power and a bump in compression because of their smaller combustion chamber vs regular gt40's. I did have to run a 90* plugwire on #7 cylinder for header clearance. Performance wise they are pretty equal.

The dispute I've always seen has been the header clearance, I don't think many worry much about flow on them. Plus they usually get ported.

The only disadvantage I can think of on the "P's" are your are limited to your header selection. As far as flow I think the P's out flow the GT40's by 5 or 10 cfm at .400. So I guess there is not much difference in them.
