well i got the fluid drained, layed it on its side to witch it sounded like small marbles or pebels rolling around in there, prob broken teeth....

went to remove the "roll pin" or what ever its called from the shifter and cant seem to get it out >

im using a small Philips head screwdriver, and i feel like im just stretching the thing over the top surface of the shifter, and not driving it down and out :/

do i need a special tool? Or should i just beat the hell out of it?

just found a guy on eBay that total cost for a WC T5 is $990, and with me giving him my transmission/"core" he would send me back $150.

so $840 for a rebuilt WC T5, including all shipping, even me shipping my "core" back to him! (also a 12month/unlimited mile warranty)

pretty sweet *** deal i think!

up to you if you wanna spend the money. personally i'd open up your current case and see whats going on with it. if you need to start replacing stuff other than a basic rebuild it might be worth your while to get the other tranny. but if all you need is a simple rebuild then i'd pass on spending all that money, but thats just me. im cheap.
