my painter showed me how thick it was up by the window trim that he took off... it looked like the paint was almost as thick as a penny....

i think it was black then maroon then yellow... but the order could be wrong.

who knows the car was ghetto'd all over.

and while i thought my car had 3.73's installed i checked out the ring and pinion the guy threw in with the car when i bought it (i was told they were the old ones) are a set of 3.27 gears.... labeled 3.27 on the box shipped to the guys address.. so i have no idea what gears are in my car as of now.

I got boned over hard on this car... but i'm trying to bring it back! just tight on money with the engine build and now the 3k in paint =(

 

i thought you wanted to sell it, or did i miss something? by the way i really like the look of you car, there should be more ttop foxes

 

i really wanted to... because me being 17... and working at the mall only making 6.55 an hour was really tough with the gas prices.... and my rebuild was getting very expensive and the car was just going down hill really fast..

but i've been busting my butt working on fixing all the small things and now with the new paint and motor i think i'll go ahead and keep it unless my brother wants to trade me =P

i'm also going to get new headlights (hopefully) and hid's for sure put on when the car gets out of paint... will also be installing the gears as soon as it gets done since i'm almost positive it has the stockers in there.

Gotta say man, that's one badass car for being 17. Looked great with the yellow Imo and money coulda been spent on mods. But either way, be happy with 'er man, you're doing good!

well the paint looked pretty good in paint.... but it was terrible up close.

it had horrible orange peel.... and it had some rust spots starting to show up... and my side molding fell off lol.... as you can see in one of my pictures... and the new bumper needed to be put on so i decided to go for paint.

its decently fast for me.... enough to get in trouble i'll put it that way =P

hell when i got out of the army 3 years ago and had $18k in my account, i could have made a SICK 5.0.
instead i bought a sportbike with cash, haha.



you wont regret it, that much I can say.

 

I want a bike too...

and my friend is enlisted in the army now.... leaves for boot camp 2 days after his graduation i think.... going airborne then trying to get into the rangers. =(

as for the car.... well i'm glad i got it... and thought about giving up on it but since i've gone this far it would be dumb to call it quits now.

now all i want is a better rearend, some weld prostars (or something close) and a 347. (or 331 with procharger or turbo)
