Well the stang is finally getting repainted! it will be a few weeks before everything is finished... but i'm super excited.... i'll post some before pics and i plan on heading to the shop either tomorrow or wednesday to take some stuff i forgot to bring with me when i dropped it off.... and take a few progress pics.

i was also gonna ask this? n hopefully its still yellow, because you have a good looking car, with the black and yellow lol..then again im biased

 

I'm going Metallic Blue, either Nissan b17 blue, or the Chrysler blue, not sure of the color code on it cause i just saw a jeep sitting at the paint shop he just painted and i loved it.

That nissan color is what my car is/was (i'm sanding it down and repainting it the same color cause it was done poorly). I got more compliments on it than guys with elaborate flames and whatnot.

 

thats what i'm hoping for... the yellow was a real head turner... however whoever painted it before i bought it sucked at life and did a horrific job, it was orange peeled all over like horribly, and it already had big sections that were messed up and it was starting to rust.... my car was ghetto'd all over. when i pulled the original engine i found so much half assed stuff... fixed most of that though.... i'm trying to bring this car back to life, and hopefully get a little respect from people around here since i'm 17 and not driving a honda etc etc.

do you have any pictures of your car? i want to see some more mustangs with the color but have only found like 3.

 

Well finally decided to update this.... had a few other pics on my other camera, but i lost the cord to it so i couldn't download...

progress is coming along pretty good i'd say. The car was painted 3 times and was never sanded off so its extremely think paint coats and its taking longer than expected to sand completely down.

quiet a bit of rust as well... a lot more than i expected but its all getting fixed =D
