Default High body miles..

Well I have a red '90 LX (I've posted pics before) with a fair amount of motor and body mods. It rarely sees the track so you could call it my daily driver/street car. It has a fresh 306 in it with about ~500 miles on it. The tranny is pretty good and the body is straight with little dents/scratches. The body itself has 162,000+ miles on it. This is my first ever fox body so i'm asking how much life to expect out of it? Is it worth buying more mods or should I slow that down?

Thanks for any help!

I've seen them with 250 k and running strong, depends on previous owners and how well they maintained it

...Location can make a big difference as well...here in the NE I stay away from NY Fox's as they tend to have a lot of rust!

...also, keep up on your suspension, tie rods & ball joints....should be addressed at some point IMO

Thanks for the comments. Any other suggestions? I don't want to keep putting money into this if only it's going to be a lemon if you know what I mean..

If you have a fresh motor I would not be concerned about the miles on the car. If it is not rusted up I would keep it. One thing on a older car that get neglected is all the bushings.
