you use a 75shot on the nissan, why are you scared to spray a 5.0?


ive sprayed my car alot, fryed my automatic, and im putting in a T5.


get the T5 rebuilt, if you can do it yourself, you will only spend like $300max, im paying promotion powertrain to build me a Cobra T5 for about $840 rated at 370hp.

get some exhaust, basic bolt on's, gears(REPLACE THE CLUTCH PACKS), some sticky tires, short throw and spray it for a 125shot, bet cash youll make it into the 12's.

there's a member here, havn't seen him in some time, but he went mid 12's with nothing but suspension mods. 100% stock motor down to the air silencer. no point in sinking money into the motor if you can't get the power on the ground.

stick your mod money in the suspension. read the 5.0 stickys for cheapo junkyard things that might improve the front end, and get nice new stuff for the rear.
drag launch bars, nice springs and control arm set along with a few knick knacks will be under or close to your $1500 and it will launch like a drag car.

you have to launch ***** OUT!

T5's dont really like that to much, nether do the axles.


if you do go the 100% stock 12's route, you better plan on rebuilding that T5, and upgrading to 31spline axles.
