did your car still have the holder that holds both the big black connecter and the sti connector or are they just laying down there in the corner?

Alright, I tried the KOEO/KOER test and nothing. The 12-vdc test light just stays lit the whole time. Looking at a wiring diagram, my STI wire is white/pink, signal return is grey/red and STO pink/light green. I connected everything the way the diagrams show. I put a new bulb in the check engine light spot on the back and it is not coming on also. I will keep trying though.

Oh yeah my car still has the black connector but somebody took the STI wire out of the grey plug and put it in the black one.

well I got the KOEO codes and they are as follow, O=51, 22, 53, 54, 35,67,81, 82,85.
22,35,51,53,54 are in the continuos memory. Looks like i have some sensors to change. yikes

51, act/ect is open circuit. (you may just need to clean the act, thats what i did with mine when i got that code.)

22, BP sensor out of selt test range (im unfamiliar with this one)

53, TP circuit above max voltage (you need to set your tps between .6 to 1.01 volts on the green wire, key on engine off)

54, ACT open circuit(see above)

35, EVP closed(this is the sensor on teh back of yoru egr valve, maybe just need to clean connects, worst case replace)

67, neutral/drive switch open or a/c is on (make sure a/c is off when running tests, make sure your neutral safety is plugged in)

81, Air management 2 circuit failure (not sure what that means)

82, Air management 1 circuit failure (again not sure what it means, i assume this are related to emissions ?)

85. canister prurge solonoid circuit failure (if you still have emission the solonoid is not operating properly.)

do the ones you know how to do and that are free. clear codes. and then try again and see where that gets you. then if you have to replace the parts as needed. most of this you can probably fix for free.

I found another sight that said 22 is Map out of self test range, that will probably be that part I have to change.
