I'M ALREADY THERE, I won't put a cage in, I just want to finally enjoy it on the street, that's why it has to hit my goal first time down the 1320, cause I won't get another

I'd go with the 347 over a 351W (unless it was 408+) because the 347 weighs a lot less and has less rotating mass. With 10.5 Compression in a 347 and a good H/C/I combo 11's shouldn't be a problem in a decent set up car. Takes more than just a potent engine

I just want to subscribe to the thread......not to steal the thread im in the same boat though im trying to find a 500$ roller right now and i want to atleast be in the 11's but still be able to drive it on a normal basis....i was thinking 306 with nos or 347 ??

This is my first build ever and i wanted to start from the ground up

a well thougt out 306 can hit 11's, a 347 will take less though, but a good head, well chosen cam and intake and all supporting mods will do it.......will it be carb or efi???
