Default Motor balancing

WHat oz size are the 302s. I talk to a guy and he said to check if my bolck is for the 50oz balancing. Im not for sure if the 302s were ver 28oz, but my block is a remand, that came from a 92. it had XXX in the valley if that help any info.

I guess im just asking could it be possible that im battleing a weight balancing prob with my vibration.

It could be the problem. But where did it come up that you put a different crankshaft or engine? The engines stock came 50oz imbalance. It could have a balancer problem.

Can you switch the balances from 50 to 28 oz

If it's a reg reman it should be 50oz Most strokers are 28oz. The XXX block came 50oz.

That sir, is going to depend on how much extensive port work that is going to be done. I have ported on quite a few heads and different makes from ATV's and VW to SBF & BBC heads. It is going to depend on how much you want to remove out of the runners for how much or how hard it is going to be.
