So the cat off craigslist just traded me a block, E7te-6049-pa heads, stock piston, c80e rods, crank etc.....I realize the heads are '87 truck heads, but what does the "pa" stand for? and are the '68 rods really worth a crap for some one to change them from the original rods?...i traded that stuff for a old jimmy carter carb...block seems to be in good condition with no ridge @ the top and you can still see all the crosshatching in the cylinder wall....he said the oil pump shafter broke ( but what would make that happen?) in it and he tore it down and just never put it back together.... main and rod bearings look decent other than the cam bearings...
