Bolt ons and a 100 shot will get you into the 12's no problem.
that leaves a wide range of potential mods for a 5.0

I'll ring in my opinion (once again) when you factor in the price of the Nitrous kit, lowering springs and underdrive pulleys and spending 30+ dollars for every 5 passes or so (which adds up fast) why not buy a nice H/C/I package and have a nice safe 12 second car with Drag radials.

+1 That way, once you've spent the money, you won't have to spend anymore. Plus, then you'd always have the same consistent power and be able to have fun with it whenever you'd like, contrary to the spray where you'd only have fun for mere seconds at a financial cost and at a risk of blowing your engine. For 1500.00$ you can piece yourself a hell of an h/c/i with used parts, and more then exceed your goals.

does this sound better?

NITTO Extreme Performance NT555R Drag Radials (275/40-17)
Holley Adjustable Fuel Injection Regulator 35-65psi
Eliminate the Smog And A/C
Remove Spare Tire And Jack
Summit Racing Street & Strip Upper and Lower Control Arms
BBK Full-Length Headers 1 5/8in
BBK CNC Series Short High-Flow Mid-Pipe (H pipe)

i got a feeling this will still put me at low 13's No Nitrous

if you can drive, most 5.0's can do mid 13's with ease
