Not MSD but mounted to a panel I made where the battery used to be on the right side.

just like Shelty said verts are too flexible for their own good. i also drive on a regular basis a mountain road here in so cal called Angeles Crest Highway. it's 70 miles of pure twisty turny windy mountain roads. a big favorite with all the motorcycle guys. a rollbar was a must not only for handling but safety. plus i have a machine shop so i can make all the neat things myself. but sadly to say due to this wonderful economy of ours, i will be closing the doors here next month after being in business for 36 yrs.

I hate to hear of another machine shop going under. I sold off most of my machine equiptment about 5 years ago due to lack of use. I kept the auto repair part open until last year forced out with health problems. Now I just piddle. All purpose machine shops are a dying breed.

i had specialized in the aerospace industry. which is pretty much gone here. so like you Portmaster, i just be piddlin'. couldn't imagine not being able to do any kinda mustang mods, so a bridgeport mill will be wheelin' into the garage. I'll sure miss the CNC capabilities tho

Get a Digital box. Very little heat. I've been using MSD 6AL boxes for years and they don't get hot enough to really cause any problems (less heat than a small amp) but it's very dated high current draw unit the newer digital boxes have very little current draw and run very cool and produce more power.
