There's a guy selling an 85 gt for 800 bucks. Decent body, rust in some spots. Behind window in hatch and on doors. All this car needs to run is a tranny. If I buy this and fix it up do you think I could make my money back later on?

Never buy a car like that with the intent of making money. You buy it because you like to wrench on your own stuff to go fast. Cars are money pits
