I really think they are 2.73's. I can cruise 80mph with the RPM's only at ~2K. Why in the world would Ford put those crap gears in a 5.0???

Axle Code on the door will be "M" for 2.73's....your tag is 2.73's ^^^^
(FYI - Door Axle tag Z = 3.08's, E = 3.27's <AOD> only)..............

That sounds like some 2.73s. At 70 you should be aroun 1600 or so

Thanks. Door tag has an "M" code so they are 2.73's.

Still, Ford could of
"AT LEAST" put in 3.08's. I guess I will just have to live with them for a while. I spent way too much on paint so I better let the wife cool off for a while.
