347 if Naturally Aspirated, 331 if it's Turbo. If it has a Vortech just park it, lol

More cubes build torque but at the cost of rpm. The heavier the rotating assembly and longer stroke the slower the engine has to turn or it will tear the block apart. On a Turbo engine the the boost makes torque by superior cylinder filling so you can spin them up faster so by using a shorter stroke and not as much throw on the crank you can get another 500 rpm out of it. You can boost either or run either NA. I just prefer shorter stroke engines under boost. It's just rotating weight that makes the differance for me. In my 540's I never have to spin them over 6000rpm.

hmm... so then why do the drag radial guys in NMRA run ~360 ci motors? either N/A or FI I was always under the assumption that you should run as long of a stroke as your heads could keep up with...

Never said it couldn't be done. Lots of guys running twin turbo 347's on a stock block. Not ideal. A 360 cubic inch engine would be an aftermarket block.

What the hell is "more square" suppose to mean? Please enlighten me...........(all sarcasm intended)

I have read some your past posts, you do not have a clue and should not be commenting on the differences between a 331 and 347. Case in point this reply to a thread you started asking about Professional Products 70mm throttle bodies...........

Thank you all for your input, PP TB sounds like a winner to me I'll take my chance's with it.

Any recomendation on MAS size and brand. I was thinkin P&L 73 or 76 as far as cam goes my original intention's were just an aphabet cam.
You have proven that you base your parts selection on look and popularity. Again, you have no clue and should not be commenting on the differences between a 331 and 347.

A square engine has the same bore and stroke, Over square has a bigger bore than stoke and under square has a longer stroke than bore size.

Ok, and the point is........... I guess Ford, Dart, and World are screwed up with blocks that can be bored to 4.125" or even a stock 302. What's the relation? Why would we want them even?
