hmmm okay, sometimes it may be hard to point a finger at the orgin of the problem, when my last motor wiped the bottom out there were a number of things that could of contributed to the prob such as I changed from bolts to studs and a girdle on the mains without having it checked and I was running NO2 and also I had swapped to a aluminum flywheel which had not been balanced to bottom end(stupid local machinest removed weight from previous flywheel) and there were a few other things that could of caused my issue......either way whoever repairs yours, make sure they do all the checks

Yes we have, It's those really expensive lessons that stick with us. The first solid roller cam I put in a small block Chevy I didn't install a cam button. I learned the hard way what happens when you don't. Now I install a needle roller cam button, Cam bolt lock plate, Lock tight on the bolts and a aluminum cover with a cam endplay adjustment in the cover on all roller cam equipted Chevy engines I build. It ain't pretty when the cam slides forward at 8000 rpm, lol
