I just got my Mustang back from my brother. She's been neglected for some time. Well I dropped a new battery in her and got her started. Had a buddy follow me (dash and all interior parts are out, no gauges) just in case I ran out of gas. When I the car attempts to go into overdrive it just rev's up like it's in Neutral. Wondering if it's just something stupid simple or if I'm going to be training myself to rebuild an AOD soon

 

OD band in the trans in gone... rebuild time

 

Its still there, just.....the band is toast. Im sure you could find it if you looked hard. Did you check under the seat?
