For as much I've spent on my car for the past 6 years, I may have been able to buy a Terminator today, but there is just so much more pride in it since the only thing original on it is the body and interioir, minus the replaced carpet. It may not have the frills and styling of the new edge but it's all mine and no payments!(well besides credit cards)

Oh, and I bought mine for $4k. Rock stock beside exhaust and air silencer removed and that was it! I wish I had the pictures of it when it was. And it was cherry then and I'd like to think it still is now

i know of termi's in my area selling for 17-18... highly modded ones only go for around 23....

As for a fox in decent shape, i think it really depends on the area.. hell a friend of mine just sold a rust free wreck free 130k mile 4 eye notch with a fresh paint job (maaco) sure it was cheap.. but someone else did prep work and masked it for him... anyway he sold it for 1,500.00

I wanted to buy it but it sold so fast!

I got my '90 GT vert for $3000, 120,000 mile original, one paint job in its life and a a new top sometime, I had to fix a few things, but that was mainly from sitting. My biggest thing was the front bumper was damaged in a wreck that I fixed, about $1000 for paint, parts and labor.

I paid 3 for mine with 100,000 miles. It needs a top and the front bumber had a small crack. Clean car fax though.

A decent fox can be had for 3500 all day. I payed 3000 for mine. No accidents, 89,000 miles. Fresh paint. Interior wasnt complete but it came with all the stuff to complete it brand new. 3'' Cowl hood, 4.10s, full exhaust good amount of bolt ons. Ran like a champ, didnt burn oil. Was beautiful. If you look hard enough and in the right places you can find a really nice fox cheap. You have to find the right seller too, the guy I bought mine from just needed money fast to help pay for a new motor for his drag car.

Outrun a termi, maybe quite possibly with a ton of mullah.

Look better on the other hand, I don't think so, termis are just drop dead sexy IMO!

I'd say a lot has to do with what you consider decent, and Termies here are way more than 17 grand. You hardly ever see them listed and when you do they're over 20g easy or they have as assload of miles.
