Default Switched fuel and gained 2-4 mpg

I have always ran Texaco gas. Recently I switched to Shell and my car gets about 25 more miles to a tank. Has anyone else noticed a big difference from running different brands of fuel. Please dont bother comparing cheap-o brands such as am/pm or anything like that. Just the premium brands.

Huh...25 more miles is pretty good. I've used all the brands: Racetrak, Shell, Chevron, Murphy, QuickTrip, etc, and I have not noticed an increase in mileage. Although I do like Shell; it's just a bit pricey.

doesnt shell have that carbon gaurentee or somethin where if you only run shell gas and you have excessive carbon build up theyll pay your service bill to get it fixed?

I've pretty much always run Shell with no problems. Not really loyal just happen to have one close to my place. Anyone know whats up with their new "Nitrogen enriched" gas? Anything worth noting or just marketing hype?

I wonder if that includes the build up of excess carbon on the plugs for S197s that cause the plugs to break!? HHHHHhhhhhhmmmmmmmm.....

Hardly sounds scientific.
