Car looks nice, I'd ask him about this: 88 was a Speed Density car, yet the pictures show a Mass Air Meter Setup, so....it may have been converted ? Or might not be an 88, or it may have some performance parts in there ?

in 88 the cali cars were mass air.

'89 was the first year of MAF, EXCEPT in California, in 1988 Ford put MAF in all Mustangs being sold in CA.

Looks like a straight car, but 5k is a lot for it. Also, if you want a manual, you have to factor that into the price as well and I am sure you can find a manual in that conditionfor 5k or less. I would keep looking, but that's just me.

yeah i agree with this, you need to factor everything in when buying for that price
