Default Clearence issues

So here the problem, got sweet deal on close out set of BBK shorty headers. They went on no problem and work great but, my steering bar link rubs on the drivers side head at the base of the collector. replaced the mounts, still rubs, tweaked the motor as safely forward as possible, still rubs, any one got an idea to fix this?

Buy an aftermarket steering shaft.

Some people tend to have this problem and then some don't. You can also put a small ding where the shaft hits the header.
