331 vs 347

That one you mention isn't sanctioned then. That little junk has gone 5.06 in the 1/8 and 7.98 @164 MPH in the 1320' (aka 1/4 mile).

What are the RPM capabilities of either set up? Would the extra stroke be a limiting factor? Or is the valvetrain the main limiting factor? I plan on being at a decently high RPM as I want to autoX it....

I plan on supercharging, regardless of which stroker setup I go.

Here's a SC 331 making 775 horses... granted it's an engine dyno.

generally people dont build the valve train up to handle the rpm. a 347 can turn the rpms just as well as a 331 and make more power on top of that.

you should have at least 7/16 rockers and studs and thicker wall pushrods to handle the heaver spring pressures that 'll be needed for the rpm
