Default Fuel pump problem.....

I have an 89 notch that I am working on and I have removed the whole interior.... dash, gauge cluster, etc... The steering column is still there and I can turn the engine over but the fuel pump is not working. I checked the inertia switch in the trunk and that is O.K.. Is there a relay with the gauge cluster that the fuel pump relies on to function? I need to move the car and I really don't feel like assembling everything yet and I can't push it this far. I'll hot wire it if need be but I would rather do it safe.

thanks

the relay should be under the drivers seat, check the lines if they are hot, from there check the connection right on the tank, you can see it from the outside, it goes around the back end of the tank to the top

Thanks for the info! After going through the 500 ziploc bags found the relay and plugged it in. Started right up. Now to find that milk crate to drive this thing with!!!!!!! Just kidding..

Thanks again
