Hi all,
I came across a 93 mustang for sale today.
The body was in good shape, but the roof had a chip missing
all the way to the metal and it looked like it had about an 1/8th inch of
bondo around it?? Is this normal, or has the car been wrecked?

something probably fell on it

roofs can be a pain to fix

id make sure it dosnt leak and look for rust on the floors under the carpet

 

Where on the roof is it? There is a seam at both the A and B pillars that will either have filler or lead in them. Pics would help or at least give us a little better idea of the damage.

 

probably had a hood fly up and they fixed the dented roof :P

 

There seemed to be a small crack at the A piller.
The hole was at about where the drivers seat is...

I went and looked at the car again.
On closer inspection the cowl looks to be out of shape....
I think I'm going to pass this one up.
