Longtubes or Shorties??????
Hey guys whats up, I've made up my mind that I'm going to go with BBK Headers with a matching BBK X-Pipe on my coupe, straight form Summitt.
But I can't make up my mind wether to go with the longtubes or shroties, I want the exra HP from the longtubes but want the convenience of the shorties, which route should I go?
Anybody that has put on BBK longtubes,
How difficult was it?
How long did it take?
Was it a pain in the ***?
IS IT A DIRECT BOLT ON? Or would I have to pull out the grinder? I ask because thats what my brother had to do with his longtube Flowtechs, IT WAS A PAIN IN THE *** to get it to fit and I don't want to have to go near a grinder at ALL.
I deeply value your guys' thaughts and opinions thank you in advance.

well the long tubes you have to take the motor mounts loose to get them in.and if you ever need to get the starter out you have to take the header off.they also hang pretty low.and i dont think the few horses your going to gain is going to make a difference.
long tubes will always be better in the hp department but will also always be more difficult to put in. BBK makes a good product, get the long tubes, take your timing putting them in and when its all done you will be glad you did it
