So recently i've had the usual problem of getting to operating temp and the car bucking, stuttering and eventually shutting off. Changing the ignition module provided only a temporary remedy. I read up some more and changed my pick up coil and the car worked like a dream! However, recently the car started stuttering again, this time on start up and while running cold.

Other things to note, the exhaust fumes like gas. i assume gas is being pumped correctly, but not being burned. My guess is the TFI module has gone bad because its the same one from before i changed my stator... i think the heat finally got to it. (Miami weather is killer.)

So can anyone diagnose my problem? bad start ups (chokes and dies, usually catches the 2nd time around) and now cold stuttering/bucking, both at idle and under load.

changing the stator was amazing! the results were awesome... now i wish for the results to continue passed a few weeks! haha

better than just leaving issues there to make things worse. addressing the issue is always easier/cheaper than replacing things later on. hopefully this isnt your typical practice of ignoring the issue. you'll have lots more issues down the road by doing this...and not just in the mustang world, lol!

Ok, so i ran codes on my car but surprisingly while doing so, my car wasn't sputtering cold, or even when i got it to operating temps. so that had me boggled for a bit.

here's what i got

KOEO : pass, just 11's going

KOER : 94, 44

94:Air diverter solenoid circuit fault

44:Thermactor air system fault


diagnose me while i go take the car for another spin! lol
