Question can anyone

can anyone in here hook it up with a discount for a 5.0 h/c/i swap? or is there a way to get it cheaper besides used parts? thanks guys

look for a gt-40 set up = heads and intake from an explorer and use the stock cam with 1.7 rockers, if you set it all up right you could squeeze 260-270 rwhp out

Yea, i tried to do a "budget build" and it turned into spending alot more than i had intended. Like said above, if you wanna get decent results and not spend TOO much, get some used gt40 or gt40P heads, a gt40 intake manifold..... I personally would swap the cam out also, thats prolly gonna be your cheapest part... I went with the TFS stage1, had nice results with P heads and a TFS street heat intake. You're gonna need to do some tweaking of timing and fuel pressure, or just take it to a tuner.... I spent around 2k, maybe a lil under for everything, but i bought everything BRAND NEW, even the P heads.... Ebay and craigslist are a great bet...
