I had a customer use them and they worked flawlessly for 3 seasons, he removed them to upgrade to 7/16.....they were still in good working order when removed

Just make sure you don't use stock valve covers and make sure the springs are capable of the 1.7s.

I had to grind part of the stock valve cover sidewall away to make the scorpioni 1.72s fit, and also had to remove the oil baffle under the filler neck. In the end the valve springs weren't up to 1.7 snuff. The scorpions seem pretty bulky compared to other rockers, luckily they are aluminum and are not too heavy.

why not get hardlands? i think they are cheaper and are slim design fits just fine under stock valve covers. almost clears the baffle.
