Default "UPDATE"Dyno

Well got done with the dyno it ran 283rwhp and 323trqe....not too bad...but i am pissed my idle is way pissing me off....if im sitting @ a light, it will drop to 600 then shoot to 1200 and then back down to 1000....ran codes a few times, to no avail...nada...no vacuum leaks..could it be plugs?

Well after an extensive and very expensive build, im going to have the car dyno tuned on Monday...Thye magic # im looking for is 300rwhp...wish me luck and ill keep you all updated with the numbers....Jamie
By the way here are the mods....347 Stroker all forged internals..AFR165's..R.R's..Comp xe270hr cam..BBK SSI upper and lower(I know, I know)..Shorty's..OR H-Pipe..no cats..super 40 flows..ac gone..Mass-Air conv..24# Inj..Smog crap gone..Elec. fan..And a crap load more

You should easily see 300rwhp. With that said, you could obviously see alot more with a better h/c/i combo.

sounds like my first dyno on stock motor with b cam made 198rwhp but 282rwtq.

im now shoot for upper 200's...maybe like 280's? but i want the tq to be through the roof, like 360 or more is what i want. i saw a few dyno sheets of higher compression motors and their torque is freakin insane!

TEA ported heads and a custom cam, no reason it couldn't see 400rwhp.

I'd be curious to see what it makes with the 165's. They flow similarly to stock LS1 heads, and stock headed LS1's have made pretty decent power with cam/bolt ons in an engine of about the same displacement.
