wheel spacers

Default wheel spacers

just wondering if anyone is running wheel spacers on there mustangs? i have an 88 gt and was thinking about getting a pair for the rear. just wondering what is the best size to run with stock wheel studs and what brand? thanks

stock studs no more than 1/4 and maximum motorsports sells them, I have them on mine for extra well clearance

i heard you can run 05-2010 wheels on your 5 lug foxbody, with 13mm spacers. dont know if its true though.

Why would you put spacers on a stock set up? You will not gain any handling advantage of having a half inch wider wheel base.

BTW, I've got 255 wide tires up front and 275s in the back with no clearance issues at all.

just a real quick question. i want to put 17x9 rims and 275's on the back asnd 235's on the front... will this work on my 92 fox that the axles are bone stock with drums.

With stock length Fox axles, you should be fine.
