Default fiberglass decklid fitment?

so, how is the fitment for a fiberglass decklid on a vert? i wanna put my battery in the trunk, but my lock has been shaved off my decklid, and the only way to open it is with the popper. godforbid my battery would die, id be stuck in a bind. i do want to put a saleen wing on as well when i turn this thing into a saleen clone. or would i be better off with a steel decklid?

thanks guys

As for all fiberglass panels, it all depends on how much you wanna spend. But even if you buy the best, you will most likely have to spend some time to make it perfect. Why not just get a steel one?

I'll probably just get one out of the boneyard. mine has no rust in it, its just that the lock cylinder was cut out and filled in, so I couldnt put a lock back in it if I tried. although it looks really sweet, like I said, if the battery dies with it in the trunk, I cant get inthere to change it/jump it...

If the battery dies, you can jack it up and put the pos cable on the starter, or just put it in the pos side of the solenoid under the hood.

Gotcha. yeah I wont be doing anything for a little while anyway, as college has pretty much raped my bank account. but if I go with anything it would be cervinis or harwood. I only like to do stuff once. and a convertible is a heavy car as it is lol
